Welcome to the Robert Morris Running Club!
UPDATE AS OF 8/13/20:
FALL 2020 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON CANCELLED
The Robert Morris Running Club was founded to offer all students of Robert Morris University an opportunity to train and compete at the collegiate level and/or participate for recreational purposes.
This club is open for all types of students and runners! Our club allows students a chance to compete with other running clubs across the nation as well as varsity teams in the region during cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track seasons. Each year our cross country and track seasons end with trips to NIRCA Mid-Atlantic Regionals and NIRCA Track & Field Nationals, where our runners experience overnight trips full of memories, great food, and fast times.
Keep in mind, racing is not mandatory! You are also welcome to post-practice dinners, volunteering at events for our sponsor, social events, and more! The RMU Running Club always has something exciting going on. If you are looking to join a tight-knit group of runners that support each other and have the same passion for running then we are the club for you!
Practice Hours & Information
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 4:30pm outside RMU Campus Recreation Center
Again, no practice is mandatory. Come as often as you would like!
We offer different run/workout options throughout the week and you are free to run at a pace that fits your training and comfort level. Our workouts can focus on anything from building endurance, sharpening speed, or strengthening the body. These workouts are designed and led by Tyler Slaney, Jay Olu-Wehuje, and Jared Famiglietti and are always optional for members.
